What is AED?
An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is a medical device used to deliver an electric shock to restore a normal heart rhythm in cases of cardiac arrest. It can be operated even without medical expertise by following voice and on-screen instructions.
After cardiac arrest occurs, immediate CPR and AED use are critical. The longer the response is delayed, the higher the risk of death or long-term complications.
In Thailand, AEDs are increasingly being installed in public facilities, commercial buildings, companies, and factories. We encourage you to consider introducing AEDs to help create a safer working environment for your employees.
